Garnier Perfect Blur 5 sec

Hi Lovelies,

Hope your all having a great week!
Today I have a quick review of a product I purchased awhile ago now and have been using for quite some time.

The Garnier Perfect Blur 5 sec

1 2
It is a smoothing base perfector. It claims to visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles, imperfections, pores and shine in just 5 seconds! Using light reflectors. “Immediately skin looks younger”

I personally struggle with very enlarged pores on my nose 😦 they are so big and no matter what I do they never seem to appear minimized.
Big pores are my enemy!
I also get a very oily nose (from the sebum in the pores) and occasionally get pimples around that area aswell. However I also get peeling dry skin on my nose too either from using really drying products to try minimize pore size or to help with pimples orrrr from….. well I hate to admit it but yes it is true I cannot help myself and sometimes squeeze my nose to clear the pores! I know that this is naughty and I shouldn’t do it but as I said I can’t help it, it’s like the devil on my shoulder is encouraging me whilst the angel is on strike.
Point is some days the skin on my nose is not co-operating and it needs a bit of extra help to make the foundation sit better and look flawless. Plus I will try just about anything that says it helps to minimize or ‘blur’ the look of pores!
So when I saw this at Priceline I obviously had to try it. I used a little on back of my hand whilst in store and as it says it blurred the look of pores and smoothed in less than 5 seconds.
I liked the feel of it and went ahead and purchased.

I now use this product daily on my nose area only. You can use it all over your face however I only require it on my nose.
I find it a great product for what I need it to do. Smooth my nose area and blur any imperfections and pores.
It doesn’t necessarily fully cover or disguise the pores but it does help minimize the look of them and make them not so obvious when your up close and personal looking right at my face! ;o
It gives a base for my foundation to stick to when foundation just won’t stay.
And makes my skin feel silky smooth like velvet.

Price is not exactly cheap at about $17 for 22mls.

If you have tried this product yourself I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Or if you have ideas, remedies, products or anything that I can try for these damn pores I would also love you forever if you shared your knowledge with me 🙂

Face of Australia

Hello Beauties,

I recently purchased these two Face of Australia products.
Has anyone tried any of these?

I have never used an actual face primer. And I see a lot of people do but because I don’t wear makeup all the time I didn’t feel I would need one. However I wanted to try their liquid foundation and I got the face primer for half price so thought I would try it also.

Anyway, I will try them both out in the next coming weeks and let you all know what I think. So stay tuned for that.

I have a few Face of Australia products already, I love their mineral therapy foundation.

Also as this month is ‘30 days of fashion and beauty’ in Australia, tomorrow I’m going to one of the events at a Priceline store so I will have a little blog about how it went when I return.

bh cosmetics – haul

Hi guys, sorry I haven’t posted much yet.

Recently I heard about a makeup brand called BH cosmetics , that a lot of beauty guru’s on YouTube had been trying, many had only good things to say so I thought I would give it a try too!
I went on their website exploring and was amazed at just how affordable their products were!
I ordered a few things from their website, eye shadow palettes, lip liner, and an eye and lip primer.

For a while I had wanted to get some eye shadow palettes to try and when I went onto the BH cosmetics site they were having a sale!! Lucky me! It was buy 3, 88 colour eye shadow palettes for only $25!!
At the time I thought this was too good to be true, and thought the eye shadows would be crap, so I went and looked at reviews on particular BH cosmetics products and apparently I was not the only one thinking they would be bad quality however I and many others were wrong.

The 3 eye shadow palettes that came with the ‘buy 3 for $25’ deal were

‘88 color palette cool shimmer eyeshadow’

‘88 color palette tropical shimmer eyeshadow’

‘88 color palette matte eyeshadow’.

And after receiving my products and trying them out I was rather surprised at how good they were.
The quality of these eye shadows is amazing! The colours are so strong and pigmented and smooth, unlike some eye shadows what you see on the palette is how it appears on your skin.
The shimmer palettes actually appear glittery on the skin without the use of a primer.

The lip liner I purchased is a waterproof liner in the colour ‘Earth’ and is the lightest shade they have and is honestly one of the best lip liners I own, it goes on so smooth and the colour is perfect for me.

I also purchased the eye and lip primer to try out, as I don’t have an eye primer.
I can’t really compare it to anything else as I don’t usually use primers. But so far it is a great product.

So I recommend anyone looking for good quality products that are cheap $$$ to have a look on their website.
The prices are so affordable on all the products and they appear to always have a good sale or deal going.
So have a look at their website,
