Guess What!!

I’m back.

I don’t want to make a big post or scene because I keep going away and coming back to this blog. But I am picking it up again and I’m back at it. And excited to be doing so.
I have been absent for awhile now and keep making ‘return’ posts when I’m back at it. For some reason I cannot just sit down and stick with it even though I’m passionate and want to blog but things happen in life that take me away from doing so.

I want to say yay everyone get excited I’m back and gonna start blogging again but at the same time I don’t want to let anyone down by not sticking with it if that perhaps happens again, I cannot make any promises at the moment.

So I’m not going to give you a big spiel about whats been going on I’m just going to get straight back into blogging.

I do have a lot of content that I had saved as drafts and had not published before I disappeared off the face of the planet and I will probably still upload some of it, but there will be plenty of new content for you all to enjoy!

‘Lust Have It’ Unboxing/Review August 2015

Hello Beauties!

I received my Lust Have It box this week.
Unfortunately a couple of my products were damaged in this months bag 😦
It arrived in the usual pink mesh zip up bag! *does happy dance*.

For those who are unfamiliar with Lust Have It, It is a monthly subscription box with 5-6 deluxe sized beauty items and sometimes full size products. Priced at $19.95 a month including postage and handling.

Reed Orange and Poppy seed scrub, 150g. RRP $6.50. Full size.

Red Carpet Kolour Body Glow, 150ml. RRP $49.95. Full size.
Usually we get an email if there is a choice of more than one colour however I did not receive that email this month unlike many others who had the choice, I just got any old colour. No where on the packaging does it depict which colour I have.

Mellow Cosmetics Mineral auto twist liner. RRP $8.00. Full size.

Was suprised when I swatched this on my hand and it came out blue!
I only tend to wear black and brown eyeliners and was happy when I saw this as it appears black, until you get it onto your skin…
However it has a nice fine point that makes a very fine line.

Ulta3 volume & length Mascara. RRP $6.95. Full size.
I am not so sure about this product, for me personally the brand Ulta3 is a very cheap not the best quality brand, they always made cheap nail polishes that weren’t of the best quality and now they have started making other makeup products and I’m scared to use it because these eyes are sensitive and easily irritated.
Plus I’m concerned by the small hairs that I can see all over the brush head.
I know that some mascaras these days have small fibres in them to extend your lashes however these look like dust and fluff and not something you want to put near your eyes.

Mellow Cosmetics Baked eyeshadow. RRP $9.50. Full size.

Unfortunately this product arrived extremely damaged and I can’t use it 😦
I managed a swatch from the lid and the colour is an olive gold. It is very pigmented on the skin but wiped off very easily and there was a lot of fallout.
Overall this months box was a bit of a let down for me 😦 Damaged products and products I probably won’t use.
Hopefully next month’s is a great one!

If you have any questions or opinions/personal experiences with any of these products or would like a review on any specific products let me know, I would love to hear about it in the comments below!

Estee Lauder Haul!

Hello Lovelies,
Hope you are all doing great!
Today I wanted to do a quick haul on some Estee Lauder products I purchased a couple weeks ago. I love Estee Lauder products and it has been one of my favourite ‘high end’ brands for quite some time now, we are talking a decent 7 years or so. I am that passionate about the brand that I now work for them also. My job requires me to wear a full face of Estee Lauder makeup, which I definitely have no problem at all with as I love the products. So this haul mainly includes some replenishing of main products I use for my daily face of makeup and a few skincare products that I had run out of.

So here is some of the products that I picked up,

daywear boxday wear

Day Wear Moisturiser creme Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme

This is my all time favourite moisturiser for my face, I use this morning and night. It has SPF 15. It smells amazing, has a slight cucumber scent. It is not heavy or greasy on your face and is really hydrating. I use this after applying Advanced Night Repair Serum over my face, the Hyaluronic acid helps the moisturiser to penetrate deeper into my skin.

ANR eye

Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum

Apart of the advanced night repair range this is a great product, helps to reduce the look off every key sign of aging around the eye area, such as fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles, dryness and uneven skin tone.
I use this along with Advanced Night Repair Serum all over my face at night before moisturising.

foundation packagingfoundationfoundation colour

Double Wear Foundation Stay In Place Makeup

Double Wear is Estee Lauder’s most popular foundation and with good reason, it has 15 hour staying power which is great for long days at work as it doesn’t move at all. It has a beautiful natural flawless matte finish, with full coverage. However it doesn’t look cakey and is oil free. It also has SPF 10.
I wear the colour Ecru, which is in the intensity 1 because I’m so white with skin tone neutral.
Estee Lauder’s Double Wear comes in many shades with cool, neutral and warm skin tones to suit everyone’s different skin tones.
If you go into a counter I’m sure they will be more than happy to sit you down and colour match you so you get the correct foundation colour for you skin.

concealer packagingconcealer colourconcealer

Double Wear Liquid Concealer, Stay In Place Flawless wear Concealer

Estee Lauder have a ‘double wear’ range that is long wearing ‘stay-in-place’ makeup.
Estee Lauder do two concealers at the moment, one is this liquid concealer I use and the other is a cream compact one that gives a thicker fuller coverage.
I use the liquid concealer in 01 Light, because I’m still white! It doesn’t crease and stays all day!

blush packagingblush top

blushblush swatch

Pure Colour Blush in 02 Pink Kiss Satin

The packaging of this product is so classy and beautiful, it comes in a rectangle gold compact with the Estee Lauder symbol on it.
This colour gives a sheer natural glow it is buildable but I like to start with it light and build it up if I need. It is very blendable.

sumptous brush

Sumptuous Infinite, Daring Lenght + Volume Mascara

This is my ultimate mascara, my favourite, most used, most purchased mascara, i simply love it. I love the lenghth it gives and how it separates all my lashes making them appear much longer and fuller then they actually are. I also love that it doesn’t clump my lashes and I don’t get any fall out or flaking under my eyes. And it is easy to remove.

Double Wear Stay in Place Eye Pencil in Onyx (black)

Another one that is apart of the Double Wear range is this pencil eyeliner that I use everyday! It is so smooth and creamy which makes for easy application. It stays on all day.
And on the other end it has a smudger, which is great when you want to smooth things out or blend and smudge to create a smoky look.

tumultuous pink

Pure Color Envy Lipstick in Tumultuous Pink 240

Estee Lauder do a couple different lipsticks this one is from the Envy range which are a pure colour not matte but give strong pigmented colour. This one is 6 hour wear however I can sometimes get away with longer. It is very creamy which makes for easy smooth application. and it covers evenly and my lips feel moisturised when wearing it it doesn’t dry out my lips at all.
This one is not usually a colour I would generally go for but it is great for work to mix it up and add a darker but bright pink colour to my lipstick collection.

Pure Color Envy Shine Lipstick in Suggestive 220

Apart of the new Shine range of lipsticks it is a lighter pink lipstick similar to the Envy lipsticks however with more shine.

Pure Color Envy Lipstick in Desirable

I also got this lipstick and gloss pack,
A light pink with more of a nude look to it, beautiful creamy and moisturising.

Bronze goddess palettebronze goddess palette 2eyeshadow swatcheyeshadow swatch 2

Bronze Goddess The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette

I literally have saved the best for last!
When I saw this come out in stores I knew I had to have it!
I love nudes and browns for my eyeshadows and that’s generally all I wear and these colours are perfect for me.
During the Summer season in America (winter in Australia) Estee Lauder releases a ‘Bronze Goddess’ range, It is a limited edition thing. Within the range they have the ultimate ‘summer’ collection (the smells and colours remind me of warm holidays by the beach *drools*) Bronzer, Illuminator/highlighter compact, blush stick, gel liquid bronzer, eyeshadow palette, perfume (that is to die for! smells amazing! current favouorite) a shimmering body oil and a perfumed body creme that smells similar to the perfume.
This palette has 5 nudes and 3 high intensity metallic shades they are all beautiful colours and they are all really blendable and long wearing. I personally find that the 3 high intensity colours are more pigmented then the other 5 but they all still go on great.

So apart of my job is to try the new products and see the results for myself and to educate myself so I know what I’m selling.
And we have had a few new releases and a heap more coming! Cannot wait!

Some of these products were given to me to try for myself.

New Dimension

New Dimension Shape + Fill Expert Serum (not in stores yet)

This is a new serum that is yet to hit stores that I will be trying out.
After using this you’ll see more defined looking facial contours and cheeks and jawline are visibly more lifted. Skin will be more plumped and refined.

renutriv boxRenutriv

Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond Transformative Energy Creme

Re-nutriv is Estee Lauder’s ‘luxury’ range and this new product is the definition of luxury!
Starting with the packaging… I mean look at that packaging! I don’t even need to explain, it’s clearly luxurious with glass surrounding the gold that the product sits in. the glass creates a diamond look.
This creme is infused with Black Diamond Truffle Extract, one of natures rarest treasures. And is great for multiple signs of aging, lifting, contouring, loss of radiance, loss of firmness, tone, dryness and dehydration. However it comes at a price.

Le Rouge

Modern Muse Le Rouge Perfume (not in stores yet)

This new beautiful fragrance is now my new favourite.
It is a Fruity Floral Oriental scent
Following on from the original Modern Muse and Modern Muse Chic this is a beautiful sweet fragrance.

Well we have come to the end, I hope you enjoyed reading, I spent alot of time on this one as you can tell by the amount of photos etc.
It seems like a lot of products however I didn’t get them all at the same time, I have been gathering them in the last couple months and thought I would do it all in one big haul for you guys.
If you have gotten this far like this post for me so I know you read it! 🙂
I would love to hear if you have used any of these products and what your thoughts and opinions are on them, so leave a comment below and let me know.
Also if you would like me to do a more in depth review on any of these products let me know.

Have a wonderful day!

‘Lust Have It’ Unboxing/Review June 2015

Hello Beauties!

So we are finally back to normal shipping with Lust Have It, yay!
I got my June Lust Have It box the other day and it looks pretty good.

For those who are unfamiliar with Lust Have It, It is a monthly subscription box with 5-6 deluxe sized beauty items and sometimes full size products. Priced at $19.95 a month including postage and handling.

This is what came in June’s Lust Have It box. Everything was a full size product!

So unfortunately this is the packaging it now comes in… which I am slightly disappointed with as I loved the pink mesh zip bags and now I get a paper gift box and scrunched paper 😦

The Cosmetic Kitchen Wake up body scrub, 60g. RRP $29.95. Full size.

I just have to start off by saying I have not yet tried a body scrub! ;o
Body scrubs recently became very popular with the Frank Body coffee scrub that was on trend a couple months ago. I am excited to give this body scrub a go as I would love to have nice exfoliated soft skin all over my body. Would be a lovely way to relax after a busy day. I also like that it is actual natural products like raw sugar that you are rubbing onto your skin, that’s gotta be good right!?
This scrub contains some natural ingredients like raw sugar, organic coffee, salt, pink Australian organic clay and bergamont.

The Cosmetic Kitchen Peppermint Foot Mask, 50g. RRP $24.95. Full size.

A foot mask sounds unusual? I wouldn’t generally think to get a mask for anything other then face or hair but I guess if it’s going to make my feet soft and smooth and relaxed and at ease then I’ll do it. Especially after standing on my feet all day at work, coming home to a foot mask might be just what I have needed in my life.
I have previously received a few products from The Cosmetic Kitchen and I love that their products are natural handmade in Australia.
This peppermint foot mask contains organic clay, peppermint essential oil and lemon scented tea tree oil. And to use it you add a teaspoon to coconut oil and water and make a paste.

NAK Thermal Shield, 150g. RRP $25.95. Full size.

This is as it says a heat protectant shield, to help keep your hair from being damaged by heat styling tools like hair straighteners.
I have been looking for a good heat protectant for a while now to try out so I am glad I got this. I don’t often straighten my already straight hair but I sometimes like to curl it but not as often as I should. And I am always concerned that I may burn my hair and end up with bad split ends and wire like hair if I do always use heat tools and never use a heat protectant, so this will go to good use 🙂

6 7

Chapstick Hydration lock. RRP $4.99. Full size.

So if you read my blog you will know I have a slight problem with collecting an unreasonable amount of lip glosses and chapsticks…
And Chapstick is one of my favourite brands! So I’m super excited to try out this because it is a dual action and I always get dry lips so any extra moisture and hydration is great.
It is nice and smooth on the lips but it has a slightly funny unusual taste which I am not a massive fan of, but I’m sure I’ll get use to it as it’s not that strong.

8  9101112  13

Teeez Trendy Cosmetics Eves ready to wear lipstick, Rebellious Red. RRP $32.00. Full size.

This month Lust Have It sent out an email with the option to choose what colour lipstick you wanted from Teeez Trendy Cosmetics range of ‘eve’s ready to wear lipsticks’, there was 3 choices of nude, caramel and red.
As you can see in the picture I chose red, which was an unusual decision for me as I usually stick with nudes and natural colours to not draw attention towards myself.
But I thought I would go for something I don’t usually choose, so red it was.
And I am happy with my choice of red because when I tried it on it looked amazing, actually delicious!
It’s so vibrant and bright and the texture is beautiful it is so creamy and smooth and it glided onto my lips with ease. It is so hydrating which is so surprising for a lipstick.
However on their website they do state that you will “Fall in love with the lipstick’s rich formula, which nourishes, hydrates and repairs cracked or dry lips thanks to the specially added wild mango” and exactly that happened!! I love the texture and that it helps to repair cracked/dry lips.
Not to mention the amazing packaging!! I have taken a photo of each side of the lipstick cover to show you guys, is that not the most creative packaging you have ever seen!?
I love it! So bright.

(unfortunately the lighting wasn’t the best to capture a true to colour image)

Overall I really liked this months box, it had all full sized products in it and I am happy I will be able to get use out of the products.
However I still want my pink mesh bag it comes in and not a cardboard gift box. Hopefully they are working on this and planning on coming out with an amazing new baggy I can add to my collection of makeup bags.

If you have any questions or opinions/personal experiences with any of these products or would like a review on any specific products let me know, I would love to hear about it in the comments below!

Moved house!`

Hi lovelies,

So I have been a little quiet lately because I have been busy moving!!
At the start I was so excited to be moving but after all the packing and carrying and unloading of the boxes I got over it very quickly.

I pretty much did the whole thing on my own except for the big things such as bed wardrobe etc.

It was so exciting to be out of where I was and into the new place but then I had to start unpacking and finding homes for everything which became overwhelming.

All in all still unpacking and trying to settle in but loving it!

Hope you are all well.

I have an obsession…

With lipgloss, chapstick, lip balm, anything to moisturise my lips!!

At the moment these are the current products I am using…
Yes, It might seem like a lot but I have them left all over the place so there is always one near by when I need.

Papaw ointment –

My mother used this on me throughout my childhood years so it was something we always had in the cupboard, however once it became one of the ‘in’ things to have I used it out in public more.
It is the best for dry, cracked, chapped lips and I swear by it as the best product I have used ever for my lips.
It is a thick texture (unless you leave it in your hot car then it just turns to an icky liquid!) Goes on nicely but is a bit sticky and you don’t require much of it. However stays on for ages!
It has a slight yellow transparent colour but goes on clear.
And it’s just that good because it is a basic product in it’s raw state that doesn’t have all these added properties like most other products have that ruin it. It has a slight scent but it’s not unbearable, it’s a papaya smell I think.
I keep these in my handbag and on my bedside table. This is my go to lip product everytime!
Definitely an essential in every girls life!

Nivea Lip Care –

Nivea is a brand I always use, I haven’t had any problems with any of their products and they always work great for me. I have had several of these lip balms and I think I like this one the most now.
When I first got this strawberry lip balm I hardly used it because the colour was so red (to dark for my liking at the time) Plus I had most of the other ones to use also, so I stuck with them more so, but I slowly started to use it and started to like how it added that bit of colour. I now use it mainly for when I want a pop of colour but a moisturising effect also.
The texture is oily but it’s not a bad thing. It applys smoothly and stays on for ages. It smells delicious also! Who wouldn’t want to smell sweet like strawberries?
This is one I like to keep in my car to add that little pop of colour whenever I need it.

20140617_210708 20140617_210756

Maybeline Baby Lips –

I have seen that many beauty guru’s that I follow with this lip balm and I had been meaning to try it out for awhile but it wasn’t til recently that I tried it.
This one is the mixed berry flavour that has a nice smell that makes you want to eat it! However I don’t recommend doing that!
It has a light pink colour but when applied to your lips comes out darker, but I don’t mind that. It’s very moisturising… for the first 15 minutes, then it kinda dries my lips out a bit.
This one I leave in my makeup bag.

20140617_211030 20140617_211148

Avon Plumping Lip Conditioner –

This is sooo good. It is just like a lipstick only a creamy pinky nude colour that moisturisers and conditions… which is obviously something you want in a lip balm/conditioner.
It does say plumping but in my opinion there is none of that happening.
Unless they mean the slight natural colour and shine it gives your lips makes them look fuller then I could see how that would work, but when I use this my lips aren’t much different.
It applies effortlessly and has a nice subtle smell.
I think this one is a beauty essential. It’s even nice just to put under a normal lipstick colour.
This one I like to keep on my dressing table with my lipsticks.

20140617_211318 20140617_211331

Chapstick –

As you can see this is is a limited edition one however no different to the original, I think it’s just the packaging that’s different.
Chapstick is a classic, something from childhood memories, I have always loved chapsticks and they have always been the one balm I have on me.
I use to always get the strawberry flavour which has a very distinct smell (not as strawberry as you think it would be) but after smelling it on someone else who constantly mixed it with cigarettes and listerine breath strips the scent started to bother me and I had to stop using it.
I am now back to using it again but the original flavour instead which doesn’t have much of a scent.
It applies to lips smoothly and doesn’t dry my lips out, which a lot of people claim happens to them, but products are different for everyone.
This one I like to keep in my car, so it’s always there for me when I get dry lips.

20140617_211352 20140617_211417

Nivea Lip Butter –

Another Nivea and it is seriously so moisturising. This is one I like to put on just before bed it doesn’t dry up quickly or leave my lips feeling gross.
It’s a thick texture that goes on easily and stays on!
I also like that it’s unscented and is clear so just adds a shine to my natural lip colour.
The only thing I dislike is the packaging, I dislike having to put the product on with my finger. And I struggle to easily get the lid off. Not the best to use when your in a rush.
This one I leave on my bedside table so that I can use  it each night before bed. Another essential!

Hi Everyone,

So I’m not feeling well tonight, but I have set myself up in front of my laptop all night to start preparing a few blogs in advance, so I can try to post more regularly.
I have been here for 5 hours so far and I can’t sleep at the moment so I’ll be here for a little bit longer.

I am trying to get some reviews done, I haven’t been using many products lately cause I haven’t been leaving the house and I’ve been a bit lazy with trialling products.

Anyway, I am going to make some Lemon hot water now as I’m starting to get sick and lemon is great for fixing colds and flu’s and maintaining great health.

Hope you are all doing well.
